The IncomeLens iPhone app is designed to work without an account, cross-app tracking, or third-party advertising. Anonymous product analytics and the IncomeLens email list are separate, optional choices.
Holdings, prices you enter, distribution assumptions, dates, calculator inputs, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple system storage. Deleting the app removes its local app data, subject to your device and backup settings.
IncomeLens does not send portfolio holdings, values, calculator inputs, investment searches, or security symbols to BuffedAI. The current app does not create an IncomeLens user account. If you choose anonymous usage sharing or join the optional early-access list, only the information described below is sent to BuffedAI.
If you choose “Share anonymous usage,” IncomeLens records allowlisted product-interaction events such as an app launch, onboarding completion, screen visit, use of Discover search, opening research or a holding editor, and saving a holding. It also sends the app version and build number.
Each launch receives a new random session code. The code is not stored on the device, is not connected to an account or registration email, and cannot follow usage across launches. The analytics record does not include portfolio holdings, financial amounts, searches, symbols, email, name, IP address, precise or approximate location, advertising identifiers, or a persistent device identifier.
Usage events are used only to understand feature adoption and improve IncomeLens. They are not sold, used for advertising, or combined with third-party data. Supabase automatically deletes usage events after 90 days. Usage sharing is off until you choose it and can be turned off at any time in About IncomeLens.
If you use the app or website registration form, BuffedAI stores the email address you provide, your optional first name, selected goal and interests, newsletter consent, optional consulting interest, the consent wording version, and the date of consent.
The form also records limited technical context to protect the form, understand broad audience needs, and tailor communications: approximate city, province or state, and country when Netlify can infer them; language and time zone; broad device class and platform; screen dimensions; app, operating-system, or browser metadata; referral page where applicable; and network address. IncomeLens does not request GPS location, contacts, photos, a phone number, or a persistent device identifier through this form.
Registration data is used to deliver requested IncomeLens newsletters, bonuses, and early-access information; understand product interest; prevent abuse; maintain consent records; and, only when you select that option, follow up about educational or consulting services. It is not sold.
Netlify processes optional usage and registration requests. It supplies approximate network-based location context only for registration; that context is not written to the usage-events table. Supabase stores lead records and opted-in usage events in separate tables. Optional email-delivery or notification providers may process the email address when BuffedAI sends or administers communications. These providers may process information outside your province or country under their own legal obligations and service terms.
You can turn anonymous usage sharing on or off in About IncomeLens. You can withdraw email consent at any time using the IncomeLens unsubscribe page or by emailing ai@buffedai.com. You can also request access, correction, or deletion of registration data. Consent records may be retained when reasonably required to document compliance or resolve a request.
When you open public market context, the app may request public economic observations from identified government or institutional sources. Requests do not include your portfolio. Those source operators may maintain ordinary security logs under their own privacy policies.
Supported explanations use Apple Intelligence on the device. When it is unavailable, IncomeLens uses a deterministic local explanation. IncomeLens does not send prompts to a hosted third-party language model.
IncomeLens 1.0 has no subscription, advertising SDK, brokerage connection, trade execution, custody, or money-transfer feature.
IncomeLens and its early-access list are not directed to children, and BuffedAI does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed feature is released.
