Terms of Service
These terms govern use of BuffedAI, an AI receptionist service for local service businesses. By using the service, the customer agrees to these terms.
Service
BuffedAI answers inbound calls, collects caller details, creates leads, stores call records, and sends notifications. BuffedAI is not a full call center, emergency service provider, carrier, PBX provider, CRM, or scheduling system.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for accurate business information, lawful call forwarding setup, caller consent compliance in their jurisdiction, responding to leads, and maintaining active billing information.
AI Limitations
The AI receptionist may misunderstand callers, classify urgency incorrectly, or fail because of provider or network issues. It must not be used as the only path for emergencies, safety-critical situations, medical advice, legal advice, or technical repair instructions.
Phone Numbers and Forwarding
BuffedAI-managed AI receptionist numbers remain owned and managed by BuffedAI or its telephony providers. Customers keep their existing business number and control forwarding through their own phone provider. Number porting and carrier forwarding control are not included in v1.
Billing and Cancellation
Paid plans renew monthly through Stripe. Included minutes use soft limits in v1. Cancellation disables production answering at the end of the paid period, after which assigned numbers may enter a 30-day cooling-off period before release.
Acceptable Use
Customers may not use BuffedAI for spam, fraud, harassment, unlawful calls, deceptive caller experiences, or unsupported industries during the v1 rollout.
